Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on 19 November 1973 in London. Her birthplace was in London to her Chinese mother and a French father. At the age of five and her family left the Chinese region to Canada. She started out as Paris catwalk models before deciding to make a profession of acting. Her debut film was Annuka In Black Robe (1991). Her role in this film was recognized by The Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, along with guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension were the next. For John Woo s The Thief she played a major role in the development of the series over 22 episodes. The first part of her series was in 24 Twenty Four. Holt began her acting career by playing minor guest roles as well as role in series. In 2013, she took on the lead role of Hostages and was also cast as a character supporting the show Netflix's House of Cards. She appeared as Julie Han as part of the US remake The Returned and Dr. Bethany Exner.
